This policy covers this website only. Clients of the practice receive a separate privacy notice covering client records, as required of CPAs under federal law.

What this site collects

If you fill in the contact form, the site collects the name, email address, phone number, and message you type into it. Nothing else is requested and nothing else is stored. The form has no account, no login, and no file upload.

The site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party analytics or tracking scripts. Basic server request logs are kept by the hosting provider for security and reliability purposes.

Do not send sensitive information through this form

Please do not put Social Security numbers, taxpayer identification numbers, bank account or card numbers, dates of birth, or scanned tax documents into the contact form or into ordinary email. Once you are a client, you will be given a secure method for sending documents.

How the information is used

Only to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to carry out the work you engage the practice for. Your information is not sold, rented, or shared for marketing by anyone, and submitting the form does not sign you up for any mailing list.

Who processes it

The form submission is delivered by email through a transactional email provider and the site is served by a hosting provider. Both process the data solely to deliver the message and the website. Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not become engagements are retained only as long as is useful for following up, then deleted. Records for clients of the practice are retained under the professional record retention rules that apply to CPAs, which are covered in the client privacy notice.

Your choices

You can ask what information the practice holds about you from this website, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to the address below and the request will be handled.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. The practice maintains an information security program appropriate to its size and to the sensitivity of the information it holds, consistent with its obligations under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act Safeguards Rule and the New York SHIELD Act.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
